    CHAIRMAN

    She joined the Board in October 2012. She is a member of several boards among them the Burundi Peace Building Steering Committee, The Burundi Doing Business Steering Committee, and The Burundi Investment Promotion Agency. She is a champion for women development and has been feted in Burundi for her support to small and medium women entrepreneurs and for the formation of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs in Burundi (AFAB).
     
    Currently she is the Chairperson of the East African Business Council and elected Board member of Inter-Café Burundi. She was the Chair of the Burundi Federal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She also serves as the Chairman of the Credit Committee and sits in the Human Resources Committee for KCB Bank Burundi.

    He joined the Board in November 2012.He is a Graduate in Mathematics-Physics from the University of Burundi, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Light University and a Diploma certificate holder in Management of SMEs from Galilee.

    International Management Institute (IMCI). Adrien was the Prime Minister and Vice President of the National Assembly of Burundi between the years 1982 and 1993, where he worked towards restoration of National Unity. Prior to his appointment as Prime Minister, he was the Governor of Muramvya Province. He was Member of Parliament from 1993 to 2005. He currently serves as the Economic operator and President of Burundi Coffee Inter- professional (INTERCAFE-Burundi), Chairman of the IDEC (Economic Development Institute of Burundi) and President of BOAM (Burundi Organic Agricultural Movement). He Chairs the Human Resources Committee and sits in the Credit, Audit and Risk Committees at KCB Bank Burundi.

    He joined KCB Bank Tanzania in May 2013 as Head of Finance and appointed member of the KCB Bank Burundi Board in the year 2015. He is a chairman of Audit and Risk Committee and member of the Strategy, Credit and procurement Board Committee. He has more than 13 years of progressive experience in financial, Strategy, and risk management gained from different organizations including Deloitte, Coca-Cola Sabco, Barclays Bank Tanzania. Prior to join KCB Bank Tanzania, He served as an Interim Chief Finance Officer of the National Bank of Commerce Limited (ABSA) in Tanzania.
     
    Godfrey is Certified Public Accountant and holds Bachelor of honors Degree in Commerce from the University of Dar es Salaam and leadership development one year Programme from University of Pretoria.

    She joined the Bank as a Trainee Manager and has held various positions within Savings & Loan, Nairobi Regional Office, KCB Bank Tanzania and KCB Bank Rwanda. Prior to her appointment, Gloria was the Head of Retail in KCB Bank Rwanda. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics & Sociology and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi. She also currently chairs the Board of International Leadership University of Burundi In addition, she is fluent in spoken and written French, which is the official language in Burundi.

    SECRETARY

    Janet joined the KCB Group in February 2016 and has served as the Secretary of KCB Burundi Board from February 2016.  She is an advocate of the High Court of Kenya with 18 years post admission experience. She has previously held various roles at Consolidated Bank of Kenya Limited, Akamba Public Road Services Limited, Kenya Grange Vehicle Industries Limited and Housing Finance Company of Kenya Limited. She holds an LLB from University of Nairobi and a post Graduate Diploma from Kenya School of Law. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi. She is a Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths.
