    Joseph is a certified public accountant with vast experience spanning over 30 years in audit, tax and financial advisory services. Joseph is the founding partner of Muigai & Associates; a leading accountancy firm in Kenya that has served local and international organisations cutting across multiple industries and sectors. Previously held roles include Treasurer at Karen Country Club, Technical Partner at Kangethe & Associates, and Senior Audit Manager at Deloitte. Joseph holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the United States International University (USIU) and is a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).

    Joseph serves as the Chairman of KCB Bank Burundi and the Audit Committee Chair of KCB Bank Kenya.

    He joined the Board in November 2012.He is a Graduate in Mathematics-Physics from the University of Burundi, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Light University and a Diploma certificate holder in Management of SMEs from Galilee.

    International Management Institute (IMCI). Adrien was the Prime Minister and Vice President of the National Assembly of Burundi between the years 1982 and 1993, where he worked towards restoration of National Unity. Prior to his appointment as Prime Minister, he was the Governor of Muramvya Province. He was Member of Parliament from 1993 to 2005. He currently serves as the Economic operator and President of Burundi Coffee Inter- professional (INTERCAFE-Burundi), Chairman of the IDEC (Economic Development Institute of Burundi) and President of BOAM (Burundi Organic Agricultural Movement). He Chairs the Human Resources Committee and sits in the Credit, Audit and Risk Committees at KCB Bank Burundi.

    Lawrence holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree from Kenyatta University and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (CPA-K). He has over 20 year’s senior management experience in business strategy, finance, commercial, audit and accounting. He worked at Standard Media Group Kenya Limited as Assistant Group Commercial Director and also served as Group Financial Controller in the same Group. Prior to this, he worked as a senior auditor at KPMG East Africa.

    OTHER DIRECTORSHIPS: Lawrence is a non-executive director of Kenya Seed Company Limited where he chairs the Audit committee. He also serves as the Chairman of Simlaw Seeds Company Limited.
