What We Need From You*

• Loan application form duly completed with all relevant details included.
• Pay slips for the latest 3 months*.
• Letter from employer confirming employment status (indicating retirement date and whether you are permanent or on contract)*.
• Bank statements for the last 6 months where your salary goes through for non-KCB customer applicants / Certified by the issuing bank and KCB branch manager.
• Copy of ID and valid Passport* (including signature and validity pages).
• Personal Identification Number (PIN) certificate, equivalent to Social Security Number.
• Open a KCB bank account.
• 3 passport size photos.
• Sale agreement complete and duly signed by both parties and witnessed by a lawyer.

• Copy of the title to the property being purchased/charged.
• Valuation report and photographs of property being financed and/or charged together with certificate of official search from lands registry.
• Valuers explicit confirmation that the property has no public utility claims, is not on wet land or road reserve.
• Valuers confirmation that they have examined the relevant survey maps and that the property described is the one inspected.
• Site inspection report on all properties either securing the borrowing or providing rental income.
• Mortgage Credit Documentation Compliance Certificate, provided by us.
• Signatures on the application form witnessed.
• Spousal consent duly executed OR affidavit of marital status submitted (spousal consent from sellers’ spouse to be obtained where a residential property is being bought).
